Hey. Let me see if I get this straight:
You want to stream videos that are on your PC and view them on the Xbox? I hope this is what you plan, for as far as I know thats the only way this works.
It looks to me like you try to stream files FROM your Xbox TO your Xbox. I know this is jumping to conclusions, but it looks that way based on your .XML config.
Sorry for writing to you as if you are even more neewbi than me, but hey... an answer is better than no answer, right?
1) Place the video(s) you want to stream on a dir on your computer
2) launch ccxgui on the computer
3) use drag 'n drop (of the directory mentioned in 1) to create a share in ccxgui
4) Click the start server button in ccx
5) in your .XML file the config should look something like this
<bookmark>
<name>Filmer på server</name>
<path>xbms://192.168.1.251:1400/Filmer</path>
</bookmark>
Make sure that the share name (here listed as "Filmer" is the "Friendly name" shown in the CCX gui. And note that the IP adress listed is the IP adress for the PC the video file is located. Note even one more thing: The name "Filmer på server" is the name as you will see it in My Movies...6) FTP the .XML file to the XBMC dir on the XBOX
7) Relaunch XBMC if you are using the ftpserver in there

Click My videos, locate the share by the name given in the .XML file
9) Enjoy the movie.
Crossover-cable should be just fine.
Hope this does it for 'ya!
