I don't have much problem with these wisps.  Just think back to the Mike Tyson's Punch Out days.

"Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee"

Just dance around them, move in close to strike with your silver weapon, then jump back right away.  That way they can't recharge off of you, and I can usually kill them fairly quickly.
