oh... and glitches used (admission of guilt portion)

money cheat to get skingrad house and furnishings.
dupe glitch to get several items, but none "mission critical" that i couldnt have gotten on my own
such as "Strong potion of strength" and the item that recharges your magical items instantly.

all in all it was well worth the time i put into it considering the many freezes and loading screens that lasted an eternity..

recommend at least doing the dark brotherhood guild storyline and the thieves storyline, both were really cool.

tired as hell... fun stuff, anybody needs any help, im more than happy to help look it up in strat. guide since i know a couple of the missions i probably wouldnt have figured out on my own....

The dupe trick certainly made the game more enjoyable to me.  I now have an endless supply of grand soul gems with grand souls in them.

The only time I have used the dupe glitch is for more lockpicks. Because im not the kind of person who is willing enough to just run threw caves to get a few lockpicks.Also for anyone who hasn't, def. start the dark brotherhood it's def fun as hell quest and has a great storyline, im almost finished with it as well.

I was hoping to complete the fighters, mages and arena guild... then finishing the main story and going back to complete  the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood.  Do you think I would run into any problems like conflicting quests or anything?

You can buy lockpicks from fences in the thieves guild for 5g a piece! You don't even need to be far in the thieves guild, basically just do the "initiation" quest and you get a fence.

I was going to do the game totally glitch free, but then I discovered you can't "manufacture" grand soul gems (ie: conjure your own). I want lots of freedom for enchanting my own armor and whatnot and finding grand souls can be a big pain in the ass (grand soul gems keep getting wasted on common/greater souls).

Or you can use the open lock spells.  

Now if I can find the elusive "open very hard lock" spell....

*Note: You can't use the spell underwater.

True, but in my opinion 5 minutes of picking a lock vs 10 seconds to Presto-Chango is well worth it.

anyone who gets 50 of 50 with this game deserves respect. i just hope i am able to get 50 of 50 but right now it looks grim since i cant get into the thieves guild.

Getting in is the easy part.  Even though the chick beats you to the diary, she doesn't take it straight to him.  She goes back to her place for a nap.  Just sneak in and steal it from her!

to get all 50 acheivments on my game im gonna have to start a second file because in my main one when i killed an innocent person and the dark brotherhood guy came in the  guard killed him

it might not be hard but it takes some time to finish 50 of 50. i might have to start a new one to do the thieves guild. i cant get in. i have talked to everyone and been there at midnight and talked to the 3 people to start it. i must have done somethign wrong.

You need to be at the imperial water front at 2:00 AM. There should be a guy named Armand Christoph, talk to him. He will be standing by where the beggar sleeps with a torch.
