Maybe it's because I'm playing on an easier difficulty, but the caves and forts I've been into didn't reap much of a benefit.  One cave did have a nice magical helm, but other than that it's been a bust... Fun, but a bust.

forgot to mention, you can dupe the item that recharges every magical item in your inventory to full... ill check the name of it later.

I have a chest at my house in Cheydinhal filled with daedra hearts and vampire dusts, just incase.   I guess you can only get booted twice though, third time and your gone for good.

For those using the clone trick here is a warning:

You may be stuck with that item.

I was cloning the helm of delver. (+40 light).  It's always maxes out the selling value for merchants so I use it to make money.  Well, when I clone the item, I usually put one on before I go back in to sell.  This way I don't accidentally sell them all. (yeah, I could buy it back but that's rape).  Anyway, after cloning the clones, I found out that the help was affixed to my head permanently.

My inventory showed that it was not on my head and I could put on other cowls, helms, hoods, etc.  But as soon as I took off the other helmet, the helm of the delver was back and working, even though it isn't on.  Some how the game bound it to my head, permantly.  

And I can't get rid of the helm either.  If I try to drop it, "can't drop item".  If I try to put it on "can't [something or the other] enchanted item".  

It's not really a problem in my case becase it's nice to have the extra light (with a -5 drain on blade though).  Cool thing is that it goes away after I put on another helmet.

Seriously, the hardest part to the game is the money troubles.  Bribing people here and there, buying houses (yeah right), buying good weapons, all requires money that is hard to come by.  

I like this trick better than the Dorian one because you can get tons of money quickly without pressing lots of buttons AND your mercantile skill increases.  Good times.

I think I've sold nearly 40 cowl of the druids @ 800/each, 50 helms of the something (gives constant water breathing) @ 800/each, and 20 helmet of the delver or something like that @ 1000/piece.  

The cowl of the druids is awesome.  Now if I can just make one that gives constant night eye too....  

I haven't bought anything other than expert alchemy equipment since I was level 15. This excludes houses and house items and a horse and enchanting/spellmaking.
The stores are a little slow on their shipments.

I wish there was a way to level up my alchemy skills without actually wasting my precious ingredients and making weak ass potions...

Just buy all the junk up from ingredient shops and bars and whatnot. You will get more then your money back by selling the resulting potion back to the store.

I tried the glitch and at least for me I get the item i dupe in the same amout that i have the type of arrows i switch to (i had 800 iron arrows and 1 strong resore health potion) creating 800 potions to appear in the room I was in, causing the game to freeze for 20-30 seconds before i could pick them up.  when i do the same when i have 10 of an item (I tried grand soul gems) it creates 80 grand soul gems to appear that each contain 10 soul gems, causing less slowdown yet still when I pick them all up it says I have 800 soul gems.

I had a similar thing happen with the Battle Raiments from the Arena, basically you need to pickup another item exactly like it and equip that one, the one you're "stuck" with will show up in the inventory and you can drop it, then un-equip the new one and do what ever you want with it. It wasn't related to the dupe item glitch in anyway.

yeah, I was playing around with this last night and found a MUCH easier way to do it.

-push "B" to enter your menu and equip some arrows (the ones you have the highest quantity of)
-push "B again to exit and Hold "LT" to block
-while holding "LT" push "B" again to go back into the menu
-Un-equip the arrows and you should see a message at the top "can't unequip....." (if you don't see the message it wont work)
-Now just drop the item you want to dupe and exit the menu (you can only do one item at a time but you can do any quantity of that item)

It will clone the item by however many arrows you had equipped. Also if you dropped multiples of the items each cloned item will hold the quantity of the amount you dropped.

For instance: If I have 15 lock-pics and 20 arrows equipped and I drop all 15 lock-picks: I'll see 20 lock-picks spawn on the ground each with a quantity of 15 for a total of 300 lock-picks once I pick them all up.  

Using this method you don't have to shoot any arrows, you don't have to switch arrows, or drop arrows, and the only thing you pick up is the items you duped.
