good to know Im not the only one who had a skill over 100. I thought I was seeing things when my Conjuration said 120 when I equipped some rings and amulets.

Someone on another forum mentioned a nice trick. Once you get into the university you can make spells, even at fairly low skill levels that will increase your mercantile/sneak/security/alchemy +100 for 2 seconds, basically allowing you to max haggle, pickpoket anybody, make wicked potions, etc etc.

My question, if you do this will it inhibit you from levelling up these skills if you always use the spell beforehand?

hmmm... could try and find out, but i think it just shows the modifier, but your actual level remains the same for level ups

It looks like the +100 for 2 seconds will still allow you to level up the skill at the normal rate. I didn't do any in-depth testing though just sort of "eyed-it" so it might not be accurate.

What is the most amount of articles of clothing you can wear for constant effect enchantments? Is this list correct?

Helmet
Cuirass
Gauntlets
Greaves
Boots
Necklace
Ring x 2
Shield

I also found it quite useful to enchant a ring with Night Eye instead of fumbling with spells. Nice and light so you can just take it off when not needed and it doesn't add to your encumberance.

The Arcane University is probably the coolest part of this game.

dont need the spell, just get a soul gem and go to the place where you enchant the armor (in 1st post) and depending on what size soul gem you use determines how high a bonus you get for any given attribute.

yes, but u have to hav e a fortify health spell in order to make an item have a fotrify health attribute.  the only spell i have for fortification is fortify magicka, and thats the only option i have for that type of enchantment.

I cant find a fortify helath spell anywhere.  maybe a scroll will suffice?

Each city specializes in an area of magic.  Check out the one that specializes in restoration.  I can't remember which one that was.  Maybe Anvil?

yes its anivil, but they dont sell me fortify strength or helath or anythig.  just fortify magicka.  All ive found is a greaer fortify health which requires level 75 restoration, which i dont have... so it wont let me enchant anything.

On that topic. I'm looking for some spells as well. Does anybody remember where they found Weakness to Magic, Weakness to Frost, Weakness to Shock?

Thought of some more ideas, but stuck at work. Can anyone with a bit more experience in the game comment on whether they think these would work?

Spell: Power Jump (not sure if this really has any use at all, might be able to get to some interesting places)
+100 Acrobatics skill for 2 seconds
+100 Speed attribute for 2 second

Spell: Power Sneak Attack
+100 Blade/Blunt skill for 2 seconds
+100 Strength attribute for 2 seconds
(+100 Sneak skill for 2 seconds) - may be useful to avoid the enemy noticing you at the last second

Enchant: Blade of Absorb (perhaps put this on a dagger for "recharging")
Soul Trap for 1 second
Weakness to magic 100% for 1 second
Absorb Health (50% of what's left)
Absorb Magic (50% of what's left)

Also can anyone comment on whether it is most effective to always increase the governing attribute for skills that you are doing +100 spells on? ie: If I do +100 sneak before pickpocketing, would I get better results by making that spell +100 sneak +100 agility?
