I am just confused. The only area code i know of is my phone number one which is 3 numbers. What area code do you need to find out local weather through xbmc? <

you need to go to www.weather.com and type in your city. Look in the address bar and copy the 4 letters and 4 numbers that follow /local/

for example:
http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USOH0...rom=search_city
should be USOH0269

Or, you can just use your zipcode in place of the 8 character id if you are located in the US.

Now you can just use the search feature within XBMC located settings>weather.

Just enter your city/town and if weather.com has it results will be returned
