Leveling Up & Quick Cash

I want to know the best way to make money.  I want to turn my character into a very powerful mage.  Please help??  I haven't completed any missions yet.  Also, what's the best to level up my magic powers??

The best way to level up and get money is by completing the quests.  Not the main quest (doesn't pay much) but the side quests for the different guilds, the freeform quests and the misc quests.

The fastest way to make money is to use the money easter egg the devs put in the game. I made 2.5 million of it in under 30 mins.
