im jealous. I wont get mine untill thursday. preorded 100 miles away, and girlfriend is gonna bring it then. id go snag one at the stores here, but woudlnt yah know... im broke. maybe i can write a check and hope it doesnt go through till thursday.... hmmmmm.

anyway i cant wait!

im really surprised at how well the game plays in 3rd person mode unlike morrowind. its actually pretty decent!

so, i was gonna wait and not get this game,... or get it down the line,.... but my patience might be waring thin,..... but i dont want to drive to game stop..... so do you guys know if you can give your credit card number over the phone and preorder it that way or not?

I'm picking my Limited Edition for the 360 up tommorow after class - can't wait... and neither can my wife

Anyways, I'll be interested to see this run side by side with the PC version... I may try this later just to see... if I can *ahem* get my hands on a pc copy *ahem* ... my PC is a little dated but I think it'll run it ok...

Here's the specs for anyone that cares to comment:

Pentium 2.4c Northwood HT oc'd to 3.3ghz
1 gig of Kingston DDR400 running in dual channel and oc'd to 460mhz
Radeon 9800xt 256mb running at 418 core and 373 mem
Windows XP MCE
Nearly 1/2 a Terabyte of space (just thought I'd add that

)

Anyways, I'll let everyone know my impressions - if anyone else has a better rig for gaming (my was build mainly for video editing and compiling) feel free to post your thoughts as well

Personally, I think I'll dig it more on the 360 for the simple fact that I'll just drop it in and play it... plus, I'm sure the graphics will look a tad better...

I believe every site that was shown the 360 and pc versions, mentioned that the pc rigs had 2 gigs of the fastest sys memory and there was still some slowdown in parts. Im assuming that would cost atleast what? $150.00 for 2 gigs of a decent brand? If Im way off, I apologize, havent kept up with pc hardware.

Try it out and leave us impressions, it should run good on your rig.

Well my friend who has $4000 from his grandpa went and purchased 1 gig of ram for F.E.A.R(its the only game he has btw) and it looked like 2 gigs was $300+

Combat actually takes some skill now, it's no longer click it until it dies. It's a little tricky and I haven't gotten quite used to it esp. the NPCs with shields. I haven't gotten too far yet, I keep catching myself looking at the scenery for no real reason other than it's pure eye candy... It's just an amazing game.
