Hi,

i have a big problem. I was using a XBMC from 2004-02-01 and everything works fine. last weekend i downloaded a new one with a few new features (ff rw with picture and weather forecast). But with the new version I had the problem that I could not open *.bin and *.img.Idont know why because at a friends xbox the same xbmc can open *.bin and *.img. Anyway I copied the previous version on the Xox. I changed between the skins to choose a new one and suddenly I could only change between two skins. I could not choose one of the other skins.
So I shutdown the box and restarted.
But now the XBMC does not start anymore. I downloaded about 10 different versions but always the same. If I start the XMBC I can see the loading screen and nothing happens.
I dont know what 2 do. The XBMP works fine!! games also!!!

hmm go to ms dashboards and go to ur saves on the hd scroll down till u see xbox media center save. Erase it! lol then try starting xbmc should work

Yeah try deletin the gamesave but also if that doesnt work completey remove xbmc and the gamesave then reinstall it fresh <

hmm, i dont find it!!!
i made screenshots so you can show me what to erase.
How do I find out which XBox Version I have??

other drives are empty!!

gehe einfach die Verzeichnisse im Order Udata durch in einem der Ordner findest du eine Datei die config.xml. Verzeichniss löschen dann gehts wieder <

ahh

naja hab inzwischen was anderes gefunden
hab die ordner
e:\tdata\0face008
and
e:\udata\0face008

gelöscht´danach hats auch funktioniert!!

Und wie finde ich heraus welche XBox Version ich hab??

lol was that german .... theres a way to erase the data from utdata (tdata?) in E but im to lazy to remeber where it is... so much easyer just using msdash to erase saves

yes that was german :-) !!!!
but now i have another problem!!
If I select 16/9 in the settings I can not play *.img *.bin
if i select 4/3 it works.
My TV is 16/9!!

its easy to erase the data from utdata and tdata. Just connect via ftp and erase it!!

so what??

I thougt in the 09_03_2004 Relase is a fix for this issue, or was it in the new unleash release ?? i dont know exactly.

I downloaded 09_03_2004 Relase today and it works perfekt!!
