Xbmc Not Putting Out Xbmc.log

i am trying to troubleshoot my smb connection but xbmc wont give me the xbmc.log
any ideas?

reinstall?  <

i jsut tried reinstalling it and now it gives me xbmc.log.  
and everything works good  <
