What are some tricks for earning Kudos on straightaways?

I'm horrible at earning Kudos on the challenges that ask you to do so (cone, kudos=time, etc.)

Any tips would help.

well the cone challenges the have the cones layed out strategically so that you can go through each one and make one HUGE combo,... that's the best advice... it's scary bc you can lose a lot,... but combos are crucial.....

as far as kudos v. time,... i dont remember those being too hard..... but i suppose if you really need to you can try and kinda s drift down a straight away,... it's slow,... but in k vs. t  it doesn't matter if you're getting kudos

Slippery cars like the Ultima GTR work very well for gathering Kudos.
