Heres the article again if you decided to reply without reading it(90% of you Im sure)....

35,000 or 3,500 or 350, I dont give a shit. Cool test and I'll take any pGR 3 related news I can get my hands on.

You people looked at the upper right and upper left of the pic and saw all the other crowd members didnt you? its not just the bottom left area thats filled. You fill a city with fully animated crowds and the game takes on a slightly more realistic feel, and for some thats a nice little accomplishment.

I just hope they dont get in my way when I pull over and stare at buildings. If I see bastards jumping and they get in my way...... grr.gif

if they can get that many characters onscreen at one time without a performance hit, then "certain games" that only has two characters onscreen at once fighting each other should be looking WAY more impressive right now.......... dry.gif. Im sorry am i thinking out loud? rolleyes.gif

I'v seen the game running at 1080 and have to say that I still agree with Incognegro.  Maybe my expectations are too high, but it's not a far enough leap from Ultimate to make me nut my pants(the same way Ultimate affected me.)

how far along was the game when you saw it and what did you see it on? your pc or an actual HDTV? if you saw it not too long ago then what is it about the game that doesnt look next gen to you? i dont see what the problem people have with the game other then the art style that most dont realize is intentional.

It was a presentation prepared by Tecmo.  Art style and graphical quality are two different things.  The art style of DOA2 was intentional....but was the graphical quallity?  If so, why was it remade twice?

So yea, put DOAU on 1080 and you've got DOA4.(Visually that is.)

what presentation? at E3 or now at the TGS? and you didnt answer how you viewed the presentation.

also how was DoA2 remade twice? it was ported to the ps2 which looked like ass and then remade to the xbox, a port and remake are two different things.

how can you make that kind of assumption about DoAU in 1080? i remember twisted posting pics comparing the two games and there is worlds of difference. there is more to a games visuals then screen rez. there is texture rez, poly count, animation, and the scope of the arenas to consider as well. i wish itagaki would put out the technical data on the game compared to DoAU so the naysayers *ahem* jasker *ahem* would have their eyes opened to how much of a leap this game really is.

Ok, first off, the video I saw was probably the same shown at e3, and it was shortly after e3, but I don't have to prove shit, what I have done and seen is of no concern of you.

Second, DOA2 Hardcore on ps2 was not a "port".  I agree that it was better on DC, but that doesn't mean Hardcore was a "port."

Third, if some tech data was released, which it won't be, not never, you probably wouldn't know what it ment anyways.  If your primary source for tech info is off of an xbox forum, then your screwed.  The whole point is that polys and textures only get minor upgrades because of the demand of making the game in HD resolutions.

is the argument here whether or not the shitty as ps2 version of DOA 2 was a port or remake?

does someone think it was made from the ground up and was Not a port?

well really the debate here is about DoA4 and the nonbeliever saying its only a high rez version of DOAU.

DoA2 was braught up because he said it was remade twice and im trying to tell him it was only remade once (on xbox) and that the ps2 version was a port.

read the last id say 6 posts from both of us if you want a good laugh.  i like how hes quite mute right now, maybe collecting his thoughts about my last reply.
