I was just about to start mission 7 and I got a disc read error. It said to take out the disc and clean it. After I took it out I looked at it and it was spotless. I put the game back in started it back up. I went to try and restart at mission 7 but it would only allow me to select mission 0. I went back to the dashboard and check to see if my gamesave was still there and it was. I turned off my 360 and turned it back on again, logged into my profile and it still only allows me to start at mission 0.
I've never had to load my gamesave before and I still don't see any option to do it anyway. It just seems as though my gamesave got erased after I got the dirty disc error. I know the gamesave still shows up on the hard drive but I don't know if it's just now an empty game save. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there something obvious that I'm not understanding or missing?
