I just looked thru my OXM that arrived an hour ago and puked when I saw the pics..

the ones you linked too look a LOT better than the ones in OXM.

why the fug would they put ugly ass pics in a mag. Im looking for every reason to like this game but when I see pics, I see nothing but a Halo, a washed out, haloe-esque game. The last thing I want right now is something that resembles Halo.  

But the pics you showed look 100,000 x times better. Once again, Rare has confused me.

releasing shitty ones, good ones, whats the real deal?

and once again, I will make myself forget about this game altogether because there are too many I want in the launch window as is. This isnt making the cut until Ive played the ones I KNOW I want and will like.

For shits sake, Im more excited about fuggin Kameo than PD0, thats Rares fault, not mine. MS is playing their cards wrong by showing it so late in the game at X05. Thats only 6 weeks to get the hype machine rolling till launch. My Opinion

Lets think about this, rare likes to leave grafix for the last (I think in an interview one time, some guy from rare said "because thats the easy part") but because we have people out their that just cant wait and demand screenshots when its really not ready to be shown yet they get what they asked for; a game with an unfinished grafix engine. I think this is part of the reason why they are keeping the game from being "overexposed" because its like peter moore said , and im paraphrasing, "it doesnt matter what they think of the product now but what they think of the product when its out."

I havent even looked at the shots yet cause I dont really care   , im gonna buy it anyway!

My god that game is beautiful... if those are the graphics people were seeing "behind closed doors" for months now... why haven't the MS execs been going around stapling these screen-shots to Sony Zombies' foreheads since E3  

They look stunning even though the filter of crappy magazine scans I can't imagine how good it looks on a crisp HDTV

Look guys, it's obvious that both M$ and Rare have been toying with us.
And most of you guys deserve it since Rare has yet to release any official screen shots. Everyone was just going on collective assumption.
X05 is going to blow the lid off this monster and IT WILL BE PERFECT TIMING!
It will come after Sony's shady attempts to thwart the Xbox 360's launch hype.
This is going to annihilate Sony's E3 Killzone 2 trailer and it's going to send Sony's TGS MGS4 trailer back into it's snake's hole.
M$ has been playing Sony all along
What will Sony do now to counter X05 and the unveiling of PDZ?
Nothing! Will they throw grill master Ken in Rambo gear and tape some last minute live action sequence and call it in game footage of Sony's super secret Xbox 360 killer?
I think not.
PDZ will have a little over a month to gather all the hype M$ needs for the X360 launch. This game's going to erase the PS3 off the minds of even some Sony zombies and will put the X in Xbox 360 on the minds of everyone come this shopping season

What part of www.xbox-scene is hard for you to grasp? Did you expect a Sony shrine in Xbox360 Gamers Chat?

twisted is hardly one to bark, as many of us own PS2s (multiple in some case, re: mine) and will most likely buy a PS3 as well.

Tell you what, I'll trade my Cybershot, my Hi-Def Handycam, my Vaio and my PSP for up to date, recent (in-game, no-cut-scene) footage of PS3 games that compare.  Tought bit is, Sony is playing their hand later than MS.

No fanboying, but fact is fact and time is time.  Give Sony some time to show more mature builds and I'll rave and shell out.  But, winter belongs to MS, be it fleeting or not.

I'm a goddamn game Xombe, and have been since the 2600 (own 78 carts and two consoles)... So to hell with fanboyism.

Anybody own two Saturns, two Dreamcasts, two Turbo-Duo R's (if you don't know, you must be a Sega fanboy), etc. etc. around here?
