Samba Question

Im newbie so excuse me if this a dumb question about samba. I just recently install xbmc, and i want install samba, but Im confuse. I see how you setup on the windows side,but  I download samba,but I cant figure out how to install it on xbox,or can some give step by step install on whole thing.Thanks  <

You just need to edit your XML file - no other software to download.

Let me see,if this right. You ftp into your xbox,edit xml in notepad,copy over the original,created xbox acct on your pc,share out, it should work.But from xbox you should see the drive or folder that share out.Does connect automatically to your pc,or do you constantly have to ftp into xbox?Thanks advance  <
