I went to Target to return MLB 2k6 which I got from there, I saw in the case it had to different MLB 2k6's one with a free 48 Xbox Live Trail and one which doesn't have one. The one with the 48 Hour Free Xbox Live didn't freeze at all.

After installing the recently released patch, I have had zero issues... Still more testing is required to confirm.

i just got the patch today too!

on release of the game i had nothing but problems, i tried 2 copies and finally got my money back.

ive had it out on a rental the last couple days and moved my profile and gamer tag to a memory card and didnt have any issues, but since i couldnt copy my profile to my mem card, only move it, i left it on the memcard, deleted just my profile from the xbox HD so all the game saves and stuff were still there only with unknown profile next to it,  then recovered my tag to my 360 HD and played about 10 games yesterday from the HD profile with out problems

so i dont know if todays update did anything for it or not
