Powering Up An Xbmc Xbox From The Remote?

Is there any way to have XBMC wake up from a power off or sleep state by a IR remote signal?

to quickly answer that question, no
when xbox is off, nothing is loaded
it wouldn't matter what the dash was set to
there is voltage going through it but nothing loaded
to do off/on via remote, you will need to do a hardware mod  <
