« on: February 22, 2004, 07:17:00 AM »

Is there a way to broadcast(stream) from a pc sat card to Xbox with the lan card?

Is there a software?  I've notice about TSReader lite but is no free and only one that support my dvb card    ...

I have a hauppauge nexus dvb card (skystar1) i use Mytheater and a plugin, it's working fine with the latest version of xbmc. Take a look at the forum of the official xbmc site for the links.  <

No need to edit xboxmediacenter.xml if you alreday edit it to stream videos from your PC. If not do a search, it's been discuscussed soooo many times on this forum.

The read me does mention the XNS : "To enable XNS in 'Network Protocol' section must be checked 'Enable XNS', all other settings ignored"

I don't know if it's working well with the skystar 2 because it's cpu intensive, unlike the skystar 1 with hardware decoder.
I must add that you can't change channels via the xbox yet, maybe in a future version.

Good luck.  <
