Castilla_y_Leon.strm <--- file name
[playlist]
File1=h ttp://www.tvcyl.es/tvcylcmva.asx
Title1=TV Segovia: Castilla y León
Length1=-1
NumberOfEntries=1
Version=1

The tvcylcmva.asx has this inside it:

<asx version = "3.0">
 <title>tvcyl</title>
 <entry>
   <ref href = "mms://212.22.34.30/tvcyl_c29"/>
 </entry>
</asx>

Take the mms part and replace the old asx url with it so this is the result:

[playlist]
File1=mms://212.22.34.30/tvcyl_c29
Title1=test
Length1=-1
NumberOfEntries=1
Version=1

Hope this helps.

I'm having problems with this too. Got everything set up OK and the streams are listed in XBMC but when I try to play one it just totally freezes the xbox. The streams run fine on the PC so I know they're working OK. I've deleted the files from U/TDATA and still no joy. Any other ideas?

Here are some techtv streams related to xbox mods etc:

Episode 1 ModChips          mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030331a_165_0.asf

Episode 2 Evolution-X       mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030403a_165_0.asf

Episode 3 Larger Hdd        mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030402a_165_0.asf

Episode 4 Xbox Media Player mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030403a_165_0.asf

Episode 5 Backing Up Games  mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030404a_165_0.asf

NOTE!!!!!

If you got stuttering sound, DISABLE digital sound in settings and use analog out.

Known bug and something that will be in for the time being.

(When fixed divx/svcd/xvid etc playback is broken and the other way around)

QUOTE (Rileq @ Feb 25 2004, 04:58 AM)
For the Tech TV streams, I created a .strm file with this in it:

[playlist]
File1=mms://stream.techtv.com/windows/thescreensavers/2003/ss030331a_165_0.asf
Title1=TechTV - Modchips on Xbox
Length1=-1
NumberOfEntries=1
Version=1

But yet I still can't get it to connect, even though the link works fine on my PC. Did I do soemthing wrong?

And thanks for the info about this. I never would have researched it myself... this is great stuff! Thanks for the Austrian porn!!    laugh.gif

Those streams do not work with the 2004-02-12 release.

This have been fixed in the cvs.

Does anyone else get scrambled video when trying to watch the "nasa-global (USA)" station? I see that it's WMV2 video, so I got the WM8 codecs, put them in the codecs folder, and added "wmv2" to the video extensions, but no luck. Any help?

reply about scrambled video output with nasa stream.

U can solve this by applying the postprocessing filter in your settings.
