Not Getting The Security Shoulders...

I read on Halo 3 Planet that I unlock the Security shoulders by getting 700-850 Gs. I have 870 Gs, and still haven't unlocked it.
Is there some achievement I'm supposed to have unlocked along with getting 700 Gs?

UPDATE:

Last night when I signed into my gamer profile and into Xbox Live, they were there! So I selected Security as my right shoulder...

... and then it disappeared. Gone. My Spartan wasn't wearing it, and it returned to "LOCKED" status in the list.

Anyone else having this problem?
