a bunch of movie has gone into it... and really now, if they can put hunderds of millions of dollars into the crap that was spiderman3, why not think outside the box here and recognize that pretty much all the people that own halo would go see this movie with probably a bunch of non gamers as well that are checking out what halo is all about

Spiderman had a solid fan base already (been around since the 60's) and had 2 previous movies that made a shit load of money. No matter how many people HERE think Master Chef is the shit, he is NOT a household name  like spiderman.

That, and the fact that there hasn't really been a commercially successful movie based on a video game is why Hollyweird won't invest the money needed to make a decent Halo movie.

If people persist with the "we want a Halo movie" chants, be prepare for:

HALO - RINGS OF DESTRUCTION

directed by: Uwe Boll

starring:

Christian Slater as Master Chief

Tara Reid as Miranda Keyes

LL cool J as Sergeant Major A.J. Johnson

Michelle Rodriguez as Cortana

also starring Robin Williams as the voices of all the hilarious alien characters

LET IT DIE.............

Do you really think something that has made as much money as Halo has in the last couple of weeks with Halo 3 has not caught the attention of some studio. The movie will eventually happen.
