I'm looking for skilled Halo 3 players to have some fun Co-op games with.

Blasting aliens is a lot more fun on Legendary with 4 people

commandersafi & I gave co-op a whirl but it was lagging too badly. our internet connections don't like each other

In order to get the achievements for scoring (I think 15k) points in each level, doesn't the scoring have to be set to Free For All? Or can it be the combined team score for everyone?

It's 5:30am, I just got done showing a guy where all the skulls and terminals were in the game so they could get the achievements lol

You basically have to use skulls as far as I know. I've found all the gold skulls. I'm game as well.

I found a few cool guys to play with tonight.
started at like 3am and finished up at like 630am
went from the start of the game all the way through The Covenant on Legendary and got all the skulls and terminals for the guys who didn't have em
we're gonna finish up the 2 more levels tomorrow night
it's crazy how easy legendary is when you have 4 guys lol

Okay well here's the thing. The gold skulls give you multipliers because they make the game harder. The silver skulls are just for cool effects and don't make it any harder and thus give you no multipliers. I usually have the Bday Grunt one on because it's funny but you need the gold ones on to get more points.

You MUST get 15k/50k (depending on level) in FFA all by yourself, meaning your points are your own, you can still play with others. Getting it in team scoring as a team, most certainly *does not count*, per Bungie.net.

You *might* get it if your individual score is over 15k/50k in team scoring but I chose not to even mess with it and always do FFA scoring.

The thing with addition people is, even on legendary the addition of people doesn't add more enemies or more point opportunities. So the more people, the harder it is for everyone to get that achievement. It is probably much easier to turn it on Heroic, turn on some skulls and do it all by yourself. I usually have Thunderstorm, Famine, and Catch on for a 5x multi.
