[Garbage Killer]

Not sure if this has been done but what are everyones feelings towards this new game? I personally think its really good. Graphics are good, gameplay is good, weapons are cool, ect. But one thing I dont like is melee is too slow. I thought the Spartan Laser was going to be a cheap dumb weapon cause nubs would get it and melt people. But Im glad its just a burst of laser and it takes time to charge.

heh, I don't think it's too slow.  I have more melee kills than anything else online so far.  Although I've only played 3 online matches since I'm still in the single player since I have a full time job.

I like the game, I just don't think it's life changing or anything like a lot of people. don't care at all for the MP. I enjoyed the Campaign for all 3.

The weapons in 3 are a lot weaker in my opinion. The shotgun is almost worthless. It was my favorite weapon against the flood and they ruined it.

Just got done with the campaign on Heroic. Total of maybe 12 hours. Kinda short if you ask me.

At least it was not the "stupid" kind of hard-mode...with enemies with tons of health and you dying instantly (*cough*gears*cough*) so it was enjoyable.

But seriously the game could have used a couple of more levels. Liked the ending though

Cant really talk about the MP, ive played a single match in Basic Training, in which i thought that melee was overused (kinda feel the same about Call of Duty 4 but that's another story). Its the freaking future, people should use guns, even in closed maps...trying to rush each other and bash em in the head does not sound fair -or skillfull.

Very enjoyable game though. Second best single player after Bioshock, 3rd best graphics after Bioshock and Gears (however in the scale of things, Halo is equal, considering how HUGE the levels are, and the total smoothness of the framerate).

So far I'm pretty much loving every bit of it.  Campaign told a decent story.  There are some questions that have still been left unanswered, but I'm sure their stories will be told in some form or another.

Multiplayer maps are my biggest gripe.  Most of them just seem small.  I thought Sandtrap was supposed to be the biggest map ever, but it turned out to be relatively small.

first impressions, enjoyable but hasnt blew me away. Graphically its nice without being awesome, but i wasnt really expecting anything groundbreaking on that front to be honest.

Only halfway thru yet but seems to lack a little of the fun of the first one. As regards the mulitplayer, I think its good but they have screwed up on the lobby system in my personal opinion. It seems over complicated and a bit wierd, and toom any countdowns all over the place. Other than that tho, a thumbs up. 8 out of 10
