Not sure how to find out accurately which game has sold the most, but here are a couple of lists I found in a quick search.

If these lists are accurate, there is a slim chance it will sell more than all others, there are just not enough 360s in the wild to sell that many.

I agree. if its anything like the last 2 games, it will be another great multiplayer experience. I have friends who bought the previous 2 versions not because they liked the campaign or single player action but because it was a blast to play at lan parties. I have a feeling halo 3 will be no different especially with the ability to edit entire maps. I can't wait

Not buying it till a price drop. I was disappointed with all the hype over Halo 2. Personally, I think the Orange Box will be more satisfying than Halo 3.
