I know this is a Halo 3 subject, but I think it should go in general. If you highlight the Halo 3 ad on the dashboard and look under "Expand your Live experience" then click "Online game play", you can find that  multiplayer is elaborated on. It states that RANKED MATCHES WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO INVITE FRIENDS. I feel that this nearly destroys the multiplayer aspect of the game. I hated GoW for doing it. Does anyone know if this was a MS choice, or a Bungie choice? How do you guys feels about not playing ranked with your pals? I really think this was a MS decision, you can see that most of the 360 games are done like this, and that we should petition to get them to quit killing Live. Gamers are probable going to keep playing Halo 2 once everyone discovers the bland gameplay of trying to coordinate with uncooperative 12 years olds.

Maybe it's just how I'm reading it, but doesn't it mean you can't invite friends to ranked matches while your already in the match?

It would suck if you had to go alone into ranked matches. But the Beta wasn't like this, and playing with your teams is what Halo is all about. I can't see how it would be like this in the final game.

If you couldn't party up for a ranked match of team slayer that would be ridiculous.
