Guys, stay on topic, or expect at least a mute on your account. I've removed three posts that contained bashing other members' nationalities, which is definitely not needed at all.

To get back on the subject, I work at Circuit City, and I haven't been alerted of any penalties for opening received Halo 3 shipments early (yet). As part of my job title, I'm actually required to open all received transmittals and audit them. So, if GameStop's strict game enforcement carries over to my store, I guess I'm going to be fired very soon.

Yeah, at Best Buy we have to open the boxes within 24 hrs of receiving them to ensure everything is accounted for.

The story is most likely BS. The game is going to sit on the back shelves like any other until its release date.

Im not the only one that has it, there is alot of people that have it . check your local craigslist and see for yourself, at least in Los Angeles there is a few people selling them.
