From xbox360fanboy.com: Our friends over at Sony HQ must be at their whits end with all this Halo 3 talk, because they devilishly and secretly stuck it to the Halo franchise with a ::gasp:: Wikipedia revision! Using WikiScanner, it was discovered that an IP address originating out of Sony's UK studios edited the Wikipedia entry for "Halo series" dissing Halo 3's graphics. Sony's Wiki revision poked fun of the game's graphics by saying that they "wont look any better than Halo 2". Ouch Sony, just ouch. i'm worried that halo3 won't live up to the hype it has, however i think it will still be a great game. look at the situation sony is in, there is nothing they can do other then try to play down halo and talk trash. their only game that had me interested got absolutely terrible reviews (lair).

But until Sony admits this, I've lost all respect for all their products.

That's just sad.

It was most likely some guy who happened to be working for sony who edited it while bored at work or who thought the game was overhyped, i doubt their PR group made some calls to have people edit it

I seriously doubt some Sony employee is this loyal to his company.
I don't know why anyone would give Sony the benefit of the doubt given their track record of deceit.

This is an all time low for Sony.

It's Wiki, it is low though on Sony's part. I doubt Sony did it purposely probably just an employer getting paid to piss around on the Internet.

Anyway the editor is pretty dumb to say that because I bet he aint played the test version after beta, even Bungie admitted will look a lot better in final.

And persides it's not all about graphics right?

oh no, the halo 3 graphics will not be better than halo 2!

i'm sure if that were the case, the screenshots i've seen must be just rediculously photoshopped... not to mention those fake videos floating out there

and lets remember hte golden rule in gaming... gameplay first, graphics second... there have been far too many games that take graphics to the next level but you can't stand to play them

i have played the beta. im a halo 1 fan not a halo 2 and i loved the halo 3 beta. the gameplay is soooo much fun, smooth, and balanced. the graphics are not the best but they are good. i really like the graphics, i dont need more from the graphics really. playing it on hd... it looks awesome.  gameplay first, good graphics second. by the way, wtf is up with sony... fucken idiots, i love their games like MGS and stuff. im loosing respect to the company.

like it matters in the first place....no ones gonna go off of that wiki page whether to buy it or not...halo is the biggest game ever created and sony has nothing to answer for it.
