I have feeling Cortana and him get an a disagreement and she activates Halo, but for a good reason, or maybe she betrays him. In the trailer from E3 shes talking about everything she knows about him and at the beginning you can hear other distorted voices like the Oracle and Brutes.

I don't really care what else happens, I just want to see Halo activated, it has to happen............after all the game is Halo, not Master Chief.

Just give me the sweet HD cinematics of total destruction.
