New Version Problem...
« on: January 12, 2004, 10:35:00 AM »

Latest version: I go to my videos, browse my HD folders E:Multimediavideos and a pop-up message says 'Network not configured'. It will play from disc, though..

Pictures work. Music works.

I had no problems in the previous release.

What's happening?

Also, why does the soften mode not take affect on my VCDs?  <

Let's see if we can find a commonality between our systems.  Maybe its a version of a bios/dashboard that we're using that's causing this to happen.  I'll start.

Chip:  Xecuter 2.2 lite
Dashboard: evox 3935 build
Xbox version: 1.0
current xbmc version: 2004-01-07
last xbmc version that properly worked: 2003-12-31
xbox connected to an actual network/router: no

Do you guys have your network cable plugged in?  I hear that will solve the problem.

This is fixed in the next release:

- 14-01-2004 fixed: pop-ups "insert DVD" etc. where sometimes shown, when browsing HDD directories
