Already had it pre-ordered, now the wait is what is gonna kill me..

If I'm not mistaken, this sounds like Gears Co-op, where you can play with people on live..but 4 people for CO-OP? That's AWESOME!

meh dont see why everyone is bothered by the single player campain, this game is so good coz its got an exelent multiplayer mode. The first thing im gona do is jump into a multiplayer game, the campain is a addon that ill play if none of my buddies are online. infact the only way im ever gona complete the game is thought co-op with a few mates.

playing by yourself is so 90s, it just not cool anymore.

4 player coop = excuse to delay release. I can see it now Sept 11th Bungie announces release date pushed to standard MS release date of November 15th.

This will be sweeet, i hope the campaign is as gud as H1, cos i agree with some the H2 was a bit dry, i hope they add some variation to encorporate the 4 players, like on GoW where players would have to take another path etc.

I was gonna play Halo 3 mainly for multiplayer, but this is gonna add replay value to the campaign mode

What about 4 player co-op split screen?? Come on with them able to pull off Xbox Live co-op 4 player split screen cant be too hard.

This is great news. The bad news is that I am going to be on a cruise when Halo 3 comes with no way to play the game.

Ehm, guys... they say they are 'working' on it. They do not say it will be in the final release.

Although... I am a fan of games with a good cooperative mode.

lol,actually they all bought one, heck a friend has two xbox's when i go to his house we link them up(i take mine)...so yea, it works. they'll get it f they really want to play it that badly

That is correct - up to four player co-op in Campaign mode on Xbox Live or System Link.

They said they were working on it, hopefully they've finished.

So everyone is supposed to bring their xbox everywhere they go and there is absolutely no chance you will end up with two people and 1 xbox....

How about getting a widescreen tv that supports Picture and Picture (splitscreen of two sources) and get another xbox360 or have one of your friends bring one. Then run two system link 2-player coops on each system.
