Halo 3 release will be phenomenal!

$5 is not much to put towards a preorder so why not - even if I end up picking the game up somewhere else...

for all these people that are going to buy a 360 just for halo 3 i am sure about 1/3 if not more will be disappointed as this game will push the 360 into the 3 ring of death probably pretty quick. ms should have fixed their flawed xbracket and shroud before releasing a title that is going to bring in so many consoles sales, only to piss people off while they wait for it to be repaired w/ another flawed refurbed unit. wake up MS

I still find it interesting that so many people are having so many problems, and yet, both my launch 360 premium and my launch 360 elite have had no problems at all *knock on wood*.

I agree. I have 3 close friends who are all holding out for Halo 3. I told them that it launches in Sept, and they are all looking to buy between now and August.

Both my launch premium and launch elite have had no issues whatsoever regarding heat. Then again, I know all about heat and what it does to equipment, so I have both units and their power bricks out in the open where it can breath.

halo 3 will definately move consoles. i bought my original xbox mainly because of halo, and i know people who are going to buy a 360 just because of halo 3. @ C o s m o, glad you brought back your old sig.

I'm really anxious to see what does better, Halo 3 or Gears 2 (whenever it comes out).
