What Would You Like Changed In Halo 3?

having stuck plasma grenades actually DESTROY warthogs. i swear theyre nearly indestructible now. atleast kill the passenger or driver. sleep.gif

All the 'nades seem weak.  Remember when H2 was released?  The 'nades sucked then too.  Bungie released an update that jacked them up.  I expect they will give all grenades more power after we're done playing the beta (actually using user feedback? ohmy.gif )

I like them, they're at the sweet spot IMO. Spike grenades and Plasmas kill when close; frag grenades take the sheild off when close. It seems like they did lessen the damage area for all the explosives though, less rocket and grenade noobs that way.

its not that im complaining bout the strength of the grenades, but really the defense of the warthog. the things practically a tank now. even a spartan laser doesnt destroy it, but the guy riding shotgun.

I agree that the worthog is a powerhouse.  I also think reloading takes too long.  It seems so much slower than the other games and it kills me every time.

The grenade power is perfect now, IMO. They are too powerful in H2, but I would like to have a bit more throw distance. So far I kove just about everything they have done, except the annoying noise you get when you press team talk grr.gif

Saturday I hosted an old-school lan where we played Halo & Halo 2.  The nades in Halo throw a helluva-lot farther and are more powerful than in H2.  I was able to throw Halo 2 nades with more accuracy, though.  
I personally would like to see the 3 nades pumped-up.

yeah reloading does take awhile. ive been sooo used to halo 1 and 2 where if the clip is already in the gun animation, you can melee and have it fully reloaded to speed things up.

I think that the sniper rifle is perfect. You actually HAVE to get headshots now instead of firing off two quick shots to the body.

I'm glad the Warthog got toughened up. It was such an integral part of Halo 1 gameplay that I was severely disappointed with its destructability in Halo 2. As far as the sniper rifle, I'm upset that it's slower, but I definitely understand the balance behind it and think it should stay.

I think the wart hog is to tuff.  I have had times when I have landed two sticky grenades on it and it still didn't kill the passengers or destroy the hog.

i agree with just about every complaint here, but i dont expect many or any to change because of balancing issues.

it's true that the warthog is a beast now, but wait until you guys see how strong the tank and wraith are.  that's what they added the new heavy weapons for though, a smart team will use the resources to their advantage, if they dont then they deserve to be raped.  

i like how the sniper is now, it's far more balanced and you can just shoot off shot after shot like before which makes sense and requires more skill.

as for the grenades, they are odd.  sometimes it seems that they have the right blast radius and power, but then the next game i cant kill anything with them.  i think it comes down to using the right nade for the right situation (frags are better in open areas where spike grenades are better for close quarters).  for the most part i think they did hit the sweet spot with the nades though.

honestly the only real legit complaint i have is the respawn points, which will be changed.  

well that and i think the game needs another pass of AA
