This sucks, I have to go to school in 30 minutes. If I want to play at all today I have to start the download before school because I have to go to work at 4:30 pm and won't get home until 9:30 pm.

edit: I just found out my brother is staying home sick, bad for him but good for me. I can have him download it for me!

Anyone who says one more day won't matter is an idiot. Right now there are over 3000 people playing a game I spent allot of money to get in on. So yeah, I'm pissed. The Crackdown invite should have been a redeemable code, the Beta should have been downloaded and launched the same way Demos are. Poorly designed and executed... lets hope this does not become standard fare for Bungie, especially since the H3 release day just got bumped up to September. I'll keep refreshing Bungie.net and playing Crackdown... guess thats all anyone can do... nearly two hours into the launch.

I totally agree with you what they should've done was when you got crackedown either have a key supplied or when you put it the game it automaticly registered your console and tag to the beta so you would get sent a key the day before the beta launches. and the beta shoulda launched from demo's or XNA , basically from the dash...

Yeah, the whole download from within another game thing is not a very good idea. I don't know why they didn't just give us a number like the other people were saying.

I think it's blatantly obvious why they did it this way, they wanted to sell Crackdown.

This is starting to feel like a scam and makes me think M$ lied about the Crackdown coming with the beta.

Just kidding, but M$ should be able to meet their deadlines, they have been late a lot recently.

UMMMMM.... they would still have to sell crackdown even if the beta entry was a code, not an in game download. Are you even reading this stuff before you post what you blatantly have no idea about?

Also, I agree... the crackdown thing always seemed iffy to me as well.

I think we all secretly knew that MS wouldn't deliver. They never do, they are late with everything and when it gets here it's broken. Oh well as long as we get it before it expires.

its given me days and days of enjoyment and fun, i still play it all the time now!
specially since the DLC was released!

Not tryna start any wildfires, but does anybody else think the delay has something to do with people possibly using backed up copies of crackdown? Even if no one says it, I know its gone through most people's mind when they were having problems downloading it this morning.
