When Will The Beta Be Ready To Play?

Anyone heard rumors of the date that halo 3 beta will be playable? I know its supposed to be in spring, but when in spring!

What also sucks is im going on vacation on spring break. I hope halo 3 beta does not come out when i go on break dry.gif . Is the beta supposed to last forever or will the service be terminated at a certain date?

Basicly if you got some answers feel free to lay them down on us!

using the best guess i can, I would say that the beta would go live around march 1st. why? because crackdown comes out the 20th of feb, and the first day of spring is the middle of march; therefore, it should be somewhere in the middle. i cant see them waiting another month to launch it, especially because the only reason Bungie is doing the beta is to get feedback, then implement changes. they probably want to start doing this as soon as possible, to make sure it's ready to release later this year. so yeah, on or around march 1st.
