I personally don't care about spending the $60 for crackdown. The game looks amusing enough to entertain me for a while. Besides, Bungie is doing the beta because they want input about what needs to be fixed in Halo 3. It would be nice to be part of that process.

only problem is they will most definitely get thousands of ten year olds complaining they can't win or such, and whining the balance is way off(when it ain't), and just whining "teh gameh is  full of bugz!" and not giving any relevant info on the problem, like where and when and such.
I still keep my opinion, they should have just hired a small groupd of dedicated gamers with previous beta experience on any platform to help them.
