There were only, what, 6 guys there working on it. I think the other 44 people on the team are working on security to prevent cheating for when the console is finally hacked.

I already had low hopes for this after playing Halo2. I'm going to wait a while after the game is released and see if it's any good. Not looking too good to me at the moment.

Off course its not looking as good as you expect but quess what the game is still under heavy developement. Its probally not even close to being finished yet.

I think its great they released this video, I know they have alot of work to do but in the end it should be well worth playing, now I just have to completly finish Halo 2 though.. I keep forgetting to do that.

Thankfully developers dont listen gamers are 95% of them have next to no idea what would really make a good game. Sorry to the other 5% but when your making a game its hard to put in everything you would like.

Devs should listen to ideas for sequles or other games from the studio but its their game and they can make it what every way they want.

I wounder how many people just watched the tiny version on the front page.

Having watched it in 720 and on the front page its so much nicer in HD.
Even the sandbox stuff looks well done, its a snadbox for a reson, no need to spend alot of time lighting and texturing it when your going to rip it apart in 10min and start over again.

I went onto the gamevideos site and downloaded the larger WMV. Wow.

Oh man, I really need a Xbox 360 soon...

The white untextured areas were cool to watch,
reminded me of plaster-of-paris: but in a game-based format.
And the sandbox bits were funny to find...like that rainbow/burberry cubiod
in one scene...
But wow, Those shaders and that AI between the Brutes and the
Grunts must have been a bitch to program.

AND we got to see the campaign engine (alpha), and 'me likey'

To those flamers: Those few guys, working on it?
THEY WERE JUST WORKING ON ANIMATION.

I seriously wonder how people criticize without looking at the whole
picture first. I struggle attempting to program a mario-clone..but Jesus...
Programming something like this is one freaking challenge
all right...so try not to be another obstacle.

Best thing is: everything ISN'T shiny! Over-shiny-ness bugged me,
but finally just armor, weapons, light-rays and blood is open to the
'shine club'.

And...how cool were those armor concepts!?!?

...Well, until the X360 gets into my hands, I can still play on the precious
Wii...and maybe when PS3 finally drops it's price, I may have a future chance
of trying the FF7::Remake, and MGS4...

Ever occur to you people bashing the guys who are saying it's going to be crap etc have more reason than "the graphics are shit". I have one that's put me WAY off the game, humans and elites teaming up under a big rainbow and fighting brutes... Brutes were shit to start off with, aswell as that god damn sword! Fuck this I'm off to play Halo1

BTW that armour blows, Ninja turtles going to make an appearance? Fight off Shredder?

man... all you people whining about the graphics need to watch then video closer. IT SAYS ITS AN ALPHA BUILD.... god damn have any of you even heard of the term alpha? I am a graphics whore and i know it does not look that great but come on there is still a long time before the beta is even released.

You need to look close is PRE-APLHA not alpha.
