C'mon guys, stop complaining about the graphics. These are NOT the final graphics, as is stated directly on Bungie's website: "There are no finished graphics in the documentary, and everything you see is a work in progress" and then further down the page: "The graphics you see in the Vidoc are a mixture of things. For one thing, theyre months old. We started creating that doc quite a while back. Youll see some near final models, some rough character rigs, placeholder lighting and a lot of sandbox locations. These are basically spaces that the designers, animators and artists place their models to play around with them. Thats one reason why there are so many scenes of big empty rooms with crates in them. There certainly are some scenes from the game in there, but alas, none properly lit, textured or populated (yet). Thats why we call it a work in progress. If youre looking for the final look of Halo 3 campaign, its not in there, except in the briefest of hints."
Also, looks like they are attempting to make the Brute a more enjoyable enemy, and more props to them for that. Still, even with the adjustments and improvements they mention (pack mentality sounds kinda cool), I doubt that fighting the Brutes will give the same feeling as fighting the Elites in Halo 1... I totally miss that "coolness" factor, and the pure feeling of satisfaction when you finally take down that damn Elite hiding behind cover and constantly poking shots at you. Pack mentality sounds too much like the Flood... I prefer the intelligence of the Elites and their "dive-for-cover" antics. Ah well, guess we'll just have to wait and see...
