It's not supposed to be out until some time in the Spring of 2007.  While it's nice to hear there will be a demo, it's nothing to get excited about just yet.

Although the demo will be fun its not like your going to play the demo to decide wheather or not to buy it. Everyone is going to get no matter what

Lol, that's nowhere near true. There will be a HUGE number of people buying it, don't get me wrong, but Halo2 turned most of us off that liked the style of Halo:CE and were looking forwarded to the promises Bungie made for Halo2 but did not deliver on. I for one will never buy another hyped game at launch. I didn't buy GOW(I may now smile.gif ). I will most certainly not buy Halo3 at launch unless the demo blows my mind.

same with me. i was dissapointed with halo 2 and i refused to play it till two months ago when i lost a bet and was forced to play on live.  i havent put the 360 controller down since. but i still wouldnt bother with the story.

i'm not going to jump for halo 3 like my roomates are. instead, ill chill out wait and see if it really delivers.  i like the musical composition this time around.
