I think unless bungie runs into a large problem(doubt it), then there will be system link.

They realize lan parties are a huge part of both halo 1 and 2 and most likely will continue in halo 3.

Just my 2 cents.

With all the reviews as of late, it looks like they are using system link to test the game. Now I realize that means NOTHING. I think there is a high degree of liklihood that you will see system link in the final game.

Gears of War supports system link MP with up to two on one box.  I don't know what you are talking about.

I can second that, it has system link. Halo 3 will have system link lan parties are one of halos major staples its how many people that don't have it get it so they can play at home.
