I'll probably get another preorder as well.. friend of mine wants a copy. my job keeps me too busy to notice the time delay, so a year'll go by in a few days for me! mwahahahhahaa (*notices the hair falling out of his head - stress sucks)

I think the pre-orders are starting a little too early, but I don't think the packages are silly or a rip off like some people are saying.

I'm surprised there isn't a HD-DVD extras version. That might spur on some add-on sales, but would probably get even more negative comments from the people in this forum, hehehe.

I hope they did a better Job on anti hacking with halo 3.

I got my pre-order this morning

The guy at game stop seemed surprized though, when i asked for one he's like "You know about it? I just found out we were doing it a few hours ago." it was funny, but ya, heres a pic of the 25.00 bucks i shelled out for the legendary;

i don't know why everyone is so into preorder Halo3. Everyone is forgetting the a game release is completely different from a console release. Cd's are easily duplicated, for Halo 2 i walked up to Gamestop and got a copy, i could have ordered ten copies and there would have been plenty for everyone.

And if your sufferring from insomnia becuase you cant wait a year just freeze yourself and have a friend unthaw you when it comes out, it will seem instant.

im not a massive halo fan but im anal about collectors stuff s i will get the legendary set, if and when the pre-orders come to the UK.

I even considered getting the THP8 LE with the deck..but i thought that was a tad excessive, maybe if the game had been in a metal tin too it would have swayed me
