Well that's disappointing....let's hope they still have a lot of work to do in the visuals department...

I also sincerely hope this game isn't nearly as glitchy/unbalanced as Halo 2 is...

Bungie already said they wouldn't increase the polygon count much, they wanted to focus on shaders and other stuff.

Judging by the scans, the graphics look every bit as good as they did in the Halo 3 E3 trailer.
Some people just have a hard time understanding what art direction is all about

As for the "Man cannon", yes it does sound sort of "gay".
But remember that this is a literal translation, I'm pretty sure that's not the real name.
Besides, only insecure guys would find a real problem with such a name....

On a more serious note I should imagine they'll fullfill a role not to disimilar to translocators in UT.

ooooooh hell yeah. as far as the graphics department, apparently you didnt read its still in alpha stage.
and if it uses the same "engine" as the trailer it will be awsome. it looks doable for the 360. plus i cant even see the pics very well to even determine them.

To all who think the graphics are shoddy- STFU. Are you going to judge scans from a magazine? Heck they aren't even scans they are pictures of pictures (pictures taken from a digital camera of the magazine pages for all the slow people.) Also, the game has a long way to go before completion. If the maps are this far along, there is plenty of time to polish.

Stop hating and start applauding. Don't like it? Do one better.

I just get tired of people saying negative things about a game that will undoubtedly outsell its predecessors. It takes the fun out of reading a thread.

Finally: GoW + Bioshock + R6 Vegas + CoD3 = no $, no food, and no social life 4 me

If MGS4 comes out for the X360, even if it's a year later then that means I'm definately not buying a PS3....
