well i was thinking, the halo 3 release is in 2007. what number is bungie in lve with? number 7. could perhaps, halo 3 be release July 7, 2007? sure its a saturday, but is there an actual release day for games or is it just common for them all to be release on tuesdays? well what does everyone else think about a release of 07/07/07?

what makes you think bungie is in love with number 7? they released both halos and neither of them were released on the 7th.

guilty spark 343 = 7*7*7
2401 Penitent Tangent = 2+4+0+1 = 7, or 7*7*7*7 = 2401
there are 7 halos
official fanclub is the 7th column
Power of Seven from Marathon and Oni
Kanji character for 7 is on the pistol on halo 1
one of the special signs on zanzibar appears july 7th
7 is used as a "t" in the credits of halo 2 (7hanks)
when 777 axons were reached in ilovebees, melissa joined

The same obsession of 7 goes with 2Pac and the 7 Year Theory as well.  Except there are thousands of coincidences that just so happen to have a 7.

well you guys dont have to believe me with the 7 connections, but its well known that bungie likes to use the number of 7. hell, seven is used alot when you go to their website, the little captions that show up in the top left of the screen (i dont know what they are, theyre above file, edit, view...) well one of them is "The Tru7h. The Whole Tru7h. And nothing but the Tru7h."

it was just a theory i thought of
Halo 3, the game to conclude Bungie's flagship series. Halo was what made Bungie's fame explode, so why not release the finale on the day of Bungie's number, 7. 07/07/07
but thats just my thoughts...

Yup, pretty much all fans of Bungie know of their obsession with the number 7.
I actually thought that it could possibly be released on July 7, 2007 based off this knowledge also.

well yeah i would like it to come out jan 1st too, but i doubt it.
why couldnt they have been like "we were working on it the whole time, as far as we are along the development process, the game will be ready to ship in 1 month"

I would be very surprised if the Halo Movie did not come out on 7-7-07.

I would be surprised if the game comes out then, I am betting on a Nov. launch because that would saleswise make the most sense, and would help boost 360 sales over the PS3 that holiday season.

game launch on 360 2 year anniversary, or what, 6 year anniversary of halo 1 release, or 3 year anniversary of halo 2 launch.
both games were launched in november, so number 3 will probably launch in november

Didn't someone at MS make some crazy comment that Halo 3 would hit in time for the holiday season 06 to compete with the PS3? Or did I dream that?

I would have thought they'd have shoved it out this year to boost 360 sales for Christmas.

Having to wait 'till next year for the next Halo and GTA sucks. All they're doing is making me look forward to them. They should have kept quiet about them for a while longer.
