its a 4 shot kill with the br...
and they wanted halo2 to be more realistic physics wise and choose to give mc certain new abilities, thats why it feels "so different" (which i dont agree with btw... i find them to be very similar).. watch the halo2 behind the scenes disk and youll see why the physics are a bit different... not to spoil it, but it has a little something to do with most of the team not knowing anything about physics for the first one....
First of all, more realism does not always = more fun. Case in point, halo 2.
Second, i have watched the 'behind the scene' disk.....one where they go and train with real military guns and such. I agree some aspects of the bullet physics is more 'realistic' in halo 2, but not all. I am an avid hunter that uses rifles and pistols. No matter what gun you use, if something is at least 50 yards away, and moving at more then a walk, you have to lead them. There is no 'leading' in halo 2, as there was in halo 1. This 'bullet physics' required a lot more skill. I do agree that some of the closer distance leading was excessive in halo 1, but overall it was/felt more realistic, fun, and more skill involving.
Hell just give me a human gun that has
single round bursts....a single bullet....like the halo 1 pistol (i hate the 3 round burst with the BR) that can kill in at least 4 shots, in halo 3, and i'll be happy. Oh, and increase the MF$@&% Field of View back to 90 degrees!
