Their #1 is also mine. It doesnt have to be 4 player, 2 player is fine. Make it coop Lan/live and I'll buy it. Without that and Bungie officially goes on the shitlist, sitting next to EA.

well.. since i dont want to contribute a completely useless post, ill say i wouldnt mind seeing:

ok touche', and yes the pistol would be great.....

.....along with a story that makes sense and ends, explosions that dont look mickey mouse, FOV that fits your damn tv screen like original halo, better maps (finally happened a year after the game was out), textures that dont pop in and out so much that it detracts from the game, a shotgun....dont have to say anymore, and SKILL DAMMIT.

I sometimes get surprised by these new Halo threads. I'm too the point now where I guess I'm just waiting for the game to come out so I can start reading the Halo4 threads

Anyways, I just wish there was a easier way to mute opponents and random screamer teammates. Spending the 10 seconds to find them and silence their cries while playing can sometimes cost you a death or 2.

My wish is for a "zombies" multiplayer type. If done similar to "infection" on PDZ; it will keep people playing by the rules.

That's like hoping George Lucas died before Episode III was released!

But I do agree, the 3 shot pistol would be nice to have back. And I liked their +1 wish. Transformer guns sounds kinda cool.

With the transformer guns, then it becomes like an RPG too much. Halo is NOT an RPG.

I think it would be okay and nice to have the pistol back, but if they do bring it back they should include an option to turn it off in multiplayer. I know a lot of people that loved and a lot of people that hated it.

I'll agree with that too. I never understand why developers take stuff out just to appease the masses when they could allow the user to decide whether they want them in or not. I loved Halo1's customizability (Invisigrenades was a blast (pun intended)

) and I'd like to see that return. There were days when I hated the pistol and days when I loved it. Same could be said about the rockets and the sniper rifle.

In re: RPG's... perhaps Halo should take a hint from RPGs (ie: deep storyline with a dramatic ending). I LOATHED Halo2's ending. Halo has the backbone for the story, now they just need to make it a grand finale.

They better bring back the pistol and it's got to look like Halo 1 pistol ...no bs added. The pistol IS A BALANCE weapon what r u talking about...it gives everyone equal chance of killing another...and it require skills. Only people that complain is noobies.

So spawning with an SMG is balance?? Give me break....yea it's balance because it allows u noobs to go in and hide and wait til someone come so u can spray them with your SMG that is no skills!!

Halo IS the pistol...it ain't Halo without the pistol. That's why i don't play Halo 2 at all after all the hype. Halo 2 are for noobies.

i concur with everything said so far about the pistol and the story line

what i want is the assault rifle back because the feel of it is so much better than those pussy SMG, when i held the rifle it felt powerful and it was loud. that SMG is so quite and weak feeling

and get rid of those dark and dirty levels, they're just not fun.
