Dude?? Be honest.  Where in the world did you come up with that?  About the pirates and cheaters.  It doesn't have anything to do with the topic and is old and boring.  As someone who NEVER cheats when playing halo, I take offense.

If you had the sense to look at the quote I put in the post you would see who that is addressed to and its not you.
Do not now attempt to turn that post into an argument.
You do not know to what I am referring,  and you certainly do not have access to the list of people involved or the reasons.
Now let it drop. I have stated my points regarding hype over Halo 3 . I have never said I hated halo. I am just not in to hype over it for a year in advance.
Now if you have a problem with any of that you PM me privately. This is not persisting in here.

Exactly. IMO, all this hype they did for Halo 2 almost hurt them afterwards. People were so hyped up by Bungie's "This game'll be like Ninjas on fire at 700MPH" BS that they expected Halo 2 to be some be-all, end-all killer app. Naturally, people were disappointed when they just got Halo with better graphics and some new features. Personally, I was more disappointed with the graphics glitches and the at times rushed feel of the game, but that's just me. I just hope they take their time on Halo 3, make it a good game, and don't hype it up to be what it isn't.

Almost?  I don't think for a minute that MS or Bungie is hurting in anyways from the release of Halo 2.  In fact, quite the contrary.  Don't we anticipate the release of any title?  Or are you guys telling me you just go to the store and see what's new and buy it?  Of course you don't.  You get the trailers, look at screenshots..etc.etc.. it's all speculation until you get your hands on it.  That's any game.  I don't see what the big deal is here.  To me, this thread isn't abot the Next Halo release, it's now been divided into an arguement over everything we already knew about Halo 2 and it's release..

OH!!!!  That reminds me!  

When the 360's came out, coincidently I was looking to purchase a copy of Halo 2 for a friend who was getting on Live!, well I went to circuit city - SOLD OUT.. Best Buy - SOLD OUT.. Rhino - SOLD OUT.. Gamestop - SOLD OUT.  I had to find a copy at a pawn shop.  So I guess what I'm trying to point out is that there was an influx of copies of Halo 2 sold because of people who got 360's...  even if you don't care for halo, you should celebrate the fact that your beloved console has such a fantastic franchise!  Enough with the bashing.  This is about the next Halo, not Halo or Halo 2, but Halo 3 - so if I can't brag about how good it is before even knowing anything about it, likewise you can't put it down.
