Halo 2 is fun but the original is way better.  It would be awesome if they re-released Halo on the 360 with an updated graphics engine and online play.

Remember the Halo 2.5 Rumors?!  It was supposed to be on all of our HDDs.  Good times, the Early Days.


I LOVE Halo 2, and think it was a GREAT game.  I think it was better than the original (not the story), but it gets a bad rap because it wasn;t nearly as revolutionary at all as the original.

I thinnk Halo 2 is the best FPS on the Xbox. Allthough I miss the kick butt shotgun of the first game, and the nades landing where I want them to; the second in the series seems overall better. I think MS is closer to finishing Halo 3 than Sony is to finishing the PS3. You just wait and I bet that Mr. Gates was right about it coming out against the PS3.

Well the whole Halo 2.5 on the hard drive is sort of true.  The emulation file sits on there and since its HD when you put the disc in....


Hated halo 2 though.  I was one of the ones that played the leaked french version (like most of you lol) and I just thought to myself "this is a sick joke".

though halo1 is better than halo2, i played halo2 more... but fag cheaters had to ruin it online. i got to lvl 40 legit and just stopped playing. i went on yesterday played 6 games and got standbyed/bridged 5 out of the 6 haha. so now im a 38 or something.

Its not really the cheaters that bother me anymore. Its the people that join team games and then start killing themselves or their teammates. I know there is an option to kick someone out of the game if they betray you but I wish they would put an option in that automatically kicks a teammate out if they kill themselves more than 4 times. This gets unbelievably annoying when you are working to get your level up and some tool just repeatedly kills themselves because they think its hella-funny.

But back on topic, these rumors seem to surface every 2 months or so with some new source and some new plotline. Until its on the xbox-scene front page, its most likely a pipe dream.

Rumors and BS aside, I'm suprised that we haven't heard a peep about this game.   Actually, I'm suprised MS would release a console without their flagship title.  I don't believe that Halo3 is ready to roll, but I do think that a release is alot closer than most of you are expecting.
