I'm not trying to be rude, but they keep saying that the game they are working on is not Halo 3, it is Pimps at Sea.
Pimps at Sea, think about that. Sounds like a joke or one of Bungie's famed code words to me. There is no way in hell that a game company would deliver a cliffhanger ending, and not follow up with the rest of the story.
i never said that they wont fallow up the rest of the story, they will but in the weekly updates they have stated that the "unknown game" in development is not halo 3.

Seriously, where do you guys get your information??? Bungie has not said that their next project is not halo 3, but they have not said that it is either. Show me the bungie article where they say it's not and I will believe you, but the misinformation that floats around here labelled "bungie said" is ridiculous.
i would love to show you any article that says it but i am at work right now and cant access bungie's site. i know it has been posted on their weekly update so scan through them and you will find it. when i get home im not going to rush to prove my point as ill be too busy enjoying DoA4 but when i get around to it you will see that i dont spew BS like others.
and deftones, i agree 100%. sony tried the same move when the DC was launched releasing FFVIII the same day and it made no impact on the DC sales as the launch was a huge sucess. ANY company can try what they want but just like MS, sony will sell out of ps3 just as fast. in the long run it may make a difference having a killer app of a title to take the attention away from the competition but nothing will effect a launch because those who are going to buy a ps3 will buy one no matter what.
