For the LAST TIME. Hugoboss, No game will kill PS3 sales or even effect it within a large range. If MS doesn't release any killer titles when PS3 is released, the Sony gets tons of glory in the news and in the industry. MS would need a buffer, something which can make the news as well. They need something so their Xbox360 won't be forgotten during PS3's launch window months.
I can't believe how any times I, and many onther people, have said this. MS doesn't expect to convert SONY fans who want a PS3 just because another HALO game is out. When I went to the stores (as a ps2 fanboy) to get San Andreas, I didn't go 'woah, Halo2 is out". You know why? Because I wasn't interested in it. MS knows that releasing a game to 'kill' a new highly acclaimed console is plain stupid. It can't and won't be done. However, MS can keep their console up to the hype and in the news with titles such as HALO3, which is what they want. They don't want to be seen as 'dying down' once PS3 releases - they wanna stay competitive.
