what bull shit, stuff available this quick should be on the disc.  hopefully when halo 3 comes out we dont have to buy ammo for our needlers and rifles on the marketplace to kill people online.

I don't think that price point will last very long.  So far everyone seems pretty upset about the price.  How could they even charge that much for a song that you can't even listen to outside of the game.

im pretty upset, seeing how there is about 1 song per pack that i want...

this has to be the most overpriced DLC in the world. only if homebrew were a reality right now, we would probably have a team of people making many custom tracks.

No offense but I find that argument complete BS...

How exactly do they know WHY you aren't buying it unless you tell them?

If I don't purchase these packs it might mean:
  1. I don't like the songs they put in the packs and I'm waiting for songs I do like
  2. I like some of the songs but it's not worth buying a whole pack just for one song
  3. I'm not interested in buying any additional songs regardless of price
  4. etc.

How exactly are they supposed to know WHY you didn't buy something.

I didn't buy Lumines Live because of the way they split it up and charged for it. For all I know they think that sales are down simply because there isn't as much interest in the game.

I agree the price does seem steep, but....

If you think about it, Itunes charges what $1 per song? That's just the audio. The devs have to get the song, so say your paying $1 right off the bat for the songs royalties, then the devs have to integrate the song into the game. I would assume they are making probably little over $1 per song they sell. And M$ I'm sure also tacked on a small fee for them hosting it.

I don't have the game, so maybe it's not that hard to just add a song in and the devs are just raking the $$$ in.

But I do agree it's still very high and I strongly hate games that release DLC so soon, they damn well could have put that into the game.

I dont care which of those options is accurate.  If they want to run polls to find out why gamers "opted out" thats their business.

Im a consumer and I'll vote with my cash as to who wins my money.  I dont know, do they listen to these petitions?  I mean if its worked before more power to ya.

Im just saying if the public doesnt buy it then they'll get the messege, I dont care how they get it eg..xyz dont like it, wrong song bla bla.

That's their business as a business, not mine.  smile.gif

their dlc is ridiculous. at about $5 per pack and how many songs are on hero 1? 54 or something thats 18 packs if they release them all. thats $90 for a games worth of crap they already have done and ready just re-encode to 360 and poof. why not just release guitar hero 1 as itself every one would buy it... but noooo lets screw the consumer into paying too much for some crap. thats why they use points instead of dollars. its just points man thats all just points.
