Since the Japs arent into shooters this could be a good sign they are converting over to the American way and more 360 will be sold.

Maybe this will make PS3 lower prices and, in turn, 360 prices dip too! Nothing like a little healthy competition!

Hmm I would have thought the 300k odd people that bought the 360 in japan was very into shooters and action games since that is the bulk of games offered, and if then the juggernaut of shooters sells out in japan we are supposed to be surprised and at awed at this remarkable thing? That Brian fella doesn't seem to be that smart...

I also remember seeing a article that the Cero Z games are some of the biggest sellers for the 360, but that was more about porn then violence I think.

Edit: anyone know if they dubbed the game? The game could get even cooler with Japanese voices...

I think Western games selling well in Japan is always going to be considered "remarkable".

Well apparently you can't find a single copy of Gears in Japan at all now so either...
A) Japan just sucks at stocking
cool.gif Its really popular         (+ Interesting doing B ) forms that face, Im not promting Gears, Im a halo fan!)
C) PROPAGANDAAA!

But its probably a combination of B and a little A... happy.gif

There has definately been a spike in the number of Japanese players online.

Unfortunately because they got the game so late I think that most will be turned off the online play, they get owned right away because they don't know what they are doing yet.
